After writing about Conde Nast Traveler’s report on the best airlines, US and international, it’s now time to turn our attention to the best airports — again as voted upon by business travelers.
Leading the way in US airports are: Portland (Oregon), Washington DC Reagan, Tampa, Milwaukee, Minneapolis-St. Paul, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Pittsburgh, and Fort Lauderdale.
On the international front are: Singapore, Tel Aviv, Munich, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Zurich, Copenhagen, Sydney, Reykjavik, Kuala Lumpur.
I LOVE the Portland Airport, and think the remodeling of it has been wonderful. It’s light and airy, spacious, has great art, easy to get around, has easy access to the MAX terminal, and full of lots of amenities. Free wi-fi, too!
My favorite international airport is probably Vancouver. I’m a little surprised that it didn’t show up on the list.
I’m not terribly impressed with the rest of the list, so I’m curious to know what you think. Are these as the best airports for business travelers? If you agree, please let me know why. And if you disagree, please let me know what your favorite airport is.
