There are so many aspect, angles, niches, and opinions about travel, that it is sometimes hard for me to guess what is going to capture your attention.
I try to write about tips that I’ve learned from 20-plus years of working as a Flight Attendant, hoping that you will find them helpful as well. I also try to share with you places I’ve been, things I’ve done, and various travel experiences. While a post can never replace the experience of “doing-it-yourself,” I hope that you’ll find something new that intrigues you, and makes you want to travel.
Here are the Top 5 posts (most widely read) for January 2008:
- Green Architecture Before its Time: Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin West. Written last summer, it’s remained popular because of the continued interest in ecology sound architecture. If you’re in Phoenix for the SuperBowl, Scottsdale is just a short drive away, and this would make a nice little side trip.
- What to do When You Can’t Find a Hotel in Paris. When I couldn’t find a reasonably priced hotel in Paris, I rented an apartment for the week, and lived among locals. I highly recommend it.
- Back to Basics: Landing & Deplaning. Part of my series on air travel, starting at home and ending with picking up your luggage at baggage claim.
- Salem Witch Trials. A post from June 2006 that has found renewed interest among readers.
- Titanic Artifact Exhibition Will Arrive in Atlanta. While the post is from over a year ago, and the exhibition has left Atlanta, it seems to remain a popular topic. The exhibition is till on tour in the U.S., and will be leaving for Europe later this year.
I’ll be keeping all this in mind and I map out my topics for this coming month. If there’s something specific you’d like to know about, be sure to leave a comment or email me directly.
Thanks to everyone for reading!
