Back to Basics: Double Duty Use for Hotel Products

hotelshampooconditioner thumb Back to Basics: Double Duty Use for Hotel Products Packing light, so you don’t have to check bags, means limiting the amount and size of your liquids and gels.  For me, that means only the essentials get packed, and I look for products that do double-duty.

If the trip is to be a lengthy one (a week or more), I’ll pop into a local drugstore to purchase some items locally.  But, for shorter trips, I try to pack everything that I need so there is no additional downtime or expense.

Here are 3 easy products, found in most hotel rooms, that can do double-duty:  shampoo, conditioner, and bubble bath or bath gel.

  • Shampoo – Can be used for hand washing lingerie or other small items in the sink.
  • Conditioner – Again, found in your hotel room, women can use it for shaving their legs.
  • Bubble bath or bath gel – Found in some hotel rooms, this can be also be used for hand washing clothes.

What other uses have your found for these items?
