Photo Friday: Hawaiian Sunset

I’m sitting in the rain here in Seattle, feeling wet and cold clear through to my bones.  I’m not jetting away to any warm any time soon, so I’ve had to content myself with organizing some photos from warm places.  It’s a stretch, I know, but it’s all I have to work with today.

This sunset was taken on the big Island of Hawaii.  I had never visited this island before this year, it was a real treat.

I’d love to get back to do a little more exploring (I only saw the area around the resort where I was staying) and to learn all about how beautiful the entire island is.

But on a cold Seattle day, I’m warming up just looking at the sunset.

Thanks, Andy. There’s nothing like a beach and a sunset (and maybe a glass of wine) to end the day.

Oooh…so pretty! As soon as I saw Hawaiian sunset at Photo Friday I had to click over here. My husband and I are traveling there in October and let’s just say if I continue planning and dreaming like I have been the past few weeks, October is going to take YEARS to get here!!!

It’s almost like being a kid again. You start planning and waiting and counting the days, and it feels like it will NEVER get here!
