Spring is in the air at Hotel Palomar Dallas as guests enjoy a special package celebrating the Dallas Arboretum’s 30th annual Dallas Blooms festival. The Hotel Palomar Dallas is a Kimpton property, and offers hosted evening wine hours in the living room lobby. Bikes are available for loan, and guest can opt for a ride around the lake or down the Katy Trail with information provided from the front desk. Dallas Blooms, now in its 30th year, is an annual spring tradition and is recognized as the best tulip show outside of Holland. The display features 66 acres, with over 500,000 blooming spring bulbs. Highlights of the festival include the blooming of over 100 Cherry Blossom trees and flowering of 6,000 azaleas. With the theme “Birds in Paradise”, this year’s festival will include a new Bird House Exhibit, featuring life-sized, interactive bird houses built by local architects. Visitors can explore the themed houses and learn about the adaptations and lifestyles of various species. The Arboretum also hosts both weekday and weekend activities for guests of all ages.

Location:  5300 E. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas. The Hotel Palomar is conveniently located across the street from Mockingbird Station and adjacent to the nearby campus of Southern Methodist University. The Dallas Arboretum is just a few minutes away.
