The Master List of Worldwide Hotel Openings in 2015

I love hotels. And evidently you do, too, as one of the things you said you wanted to see more of in 2015 was hotel reviews. Just take a look at all these new hotel openings! I’ll have some reviews for you coming up soon.

Once again, we’ve scoured the globe internet to bring together the The Master List of Worldwide Hotel Openings for the new year. But this year, we’ve did our best to cut down the list. It’s kind of like Hunger Games for hotel openings.

Saint Petersburg, Russia – Handsome But Haughty

Russia has long been on my bucket list, and although that has been tempered by the recent history of human rights violations and other political issues, I still want to visit this beautiful city. It sounds like Barbara fell it love with it.

“You’re going to Saint Petersburg? It’s such a beautiful city.”

Everyone I knew who had visited Russia’s second largest city shared this sentiment, and after a few days of wandering the manicured avenues and placid canals, I agreed.

How To Use the Moroccan Hammam

I enjoyed the onsen culture of Japan, and am sure I would love the hammam culture of Morocco. Must get there one day to check it out, but in the meantime I can enjoy it vicariously through Amanda’s explanation.

The Moroccan hammam is one of the most widely loved and yet puzzling experiences for people who have never visited or Morocco nor had the opportunity to try a hammam. Many “must do in Morocco” lists include take a hammam but just what does that mean and why is it such a revered tradition?

Hi MJ! Thanks so much for featuring my article about St. Petersburg, Russia. It is, indeed, a beautiful city, which lives up to its nickname “Venice of the North.”
