If you are early you can relax in style while you wait for your room to be ready. Plan ahead though and pack needed items if you plan to be on the ship early.
The Viking Neptune entered into service in 2022, mere weeks before we were onboard. The small ship can accommodate up to 930 guests, and on our sailing traveled with around 700.
At dinnertime, the menu is similar to that served in The Restaurant, most entrees will be offered in both, and there are a wide variety of appetizer, salad, and dessert choices.
The tea menu is extensive, and the waitstaff can help you with a selection if it feels a bit overwhelming. A tiered serving tray with scones, finger sandwiches, petit fours, and macarons, are placed at every table.
